The state needs to get a handle on escalating property taxes.

I’m proud to be affiliated with Hospitality House. As I have told you before some good things happen here. It’s like a lifeline gets thrown and some of our men grab on to it and make the most of it.

Monday was the official recognition of Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday. Traditionally, the Owatonna public schools have conducted staff development activities on that day.

To be honest, the reports from the most recent board meeting have been a bit overwhelming.

Though the Hospitality House — a temporary shelter for men who are transitioning through homelessness — has been operating here in Owatonna for three years now, I joined the board just six months ago.
